Naka's Travel Service special tour, escorted by Naka's Travel Service bi-lingual tour guide, to the 5th Worldwide Uchinanchu Festival in Okinawa.
Okinawa Kenjinkai from all over the world gather in Okinawa for this special event that only takes place once every 5 years. About 2,000 Uchinanchu from across the earth gathered in Okinawa for the first festival in 1990, growing to over 5,000 at the 4th festival in 2006.
The festival itself will be held from October 13th through the 16th with the new Onoyama Stadium as the main event venue. We will be flying to the event in 2011 by chartered JAL flight, and the tour will included attendance at the main festival events as well as pre and post festival sightseeing and touring through Okinawa.
